Effective as of October 1, 2018, individuals and corporations can apply for the Saskatchewan Technology Startup Incentive (STSI).

The STSI is a non-refundable 45% tax credit for individuals or corporations which invest in eligible start-up businesses. Such investors can earn up to $225,000 in tax credits per investment. Credits earned can be claimed to a maximum of $140,000 per tax year and can be carried forward and claimed in the subsequent four years.
